Fair warning my fellow readers, this one will wrap around your heart and leave you gasping for breath. Rio is full of fire to the depth of her soul. She loves unconditionally with high walls to protect her fragile being. Everyone and everything she’s ever loved has disappointed her, walked away, or left her alone. Everyone except Abbi, Sean, and Grant. 
Grant knows he shouldn’t be drawn to Rio, but ever since he was on protection duty they’re friendship cannot be denied. Grant wants what’s best her at all costs. 
Rio finds that when hope and tragedy collide her world turns upside down pulling her into the dark abyss of her past obsession. Grant may be the only one to see her despair before it’s too late.
