4.5 Stars and I am still shaking my head wondering what I
just read. This my first book by Ashton Blackthorne and I promise you it
won't be my last. What a sizzling read with so many twists and turns,
at times, I had to reread a section to be sure I was in the right POV.
This book is sinfully captivating! One thing that never left my thoughts
was that the author claims to have incorporated some of his personal
experiences in the story. If that is even partially true, hot damn is
all I have to say.
I enjoyed the dark, dynamic characters of Ashton and Ayden. Their personal demons only enhanced their bad boy images and over the top alpha-male personas. There were times I hated both of them, but I couldn't stop my need to find out why. The female characters, Amber, Sasha, Ava, and Reece are smart, resilient, strong, and complex. And just like the men I wanted to shake some sense into each one of them at times. A rush of read that won't let you down!!
