There needs to be a support group for us who need recovery time after living in the world of Keri Lake’s newest dystopian romance, Calico Descending! I keep walking to the kitchen for something only to forget why I’m there. It’s like a catatonic state, but with reeling emotions. All I can say is, I want more!!
Calico is the second book to Juniper Unraveling following the tortuous destiny of Calithea who is sold to Calico for a purpose. I did not see that coming!!!
The end, oh my stars, I did not see that as the pivotal point of Maddy's reality! 
I have been pacing around the house since 2 today reliving the last three chapters and second guessing the first twenty. 
How does Ms. Hart do that with all her books?
She brings you through the darkest, ugliest, parts of her characters' experiences and has you feeling all kinds of anger, dread, and revenge only to drop you feet first in the midst of something unexpected. The Spiral is so much more than words can express. It is the light and dark in all of us if pushed beyond reason just like Jack and Madeline were. The Spiral is an emotionally charged read that will have you feeling every desire of Madeline's heart and every breaking point that runs ramped through Jack's revenge.

This is the kind of book that seeps into your psyche and challenges us to do better. Strive for more and work towards healing. We all deserve love.
Weston and Courtney develop a relationship of compromise. Each needs something that the other can provide. It is not your beautiful, perfect romance as they are both guarding battered hearts and broken dreams. But what they do find is a comfort in sharing in their healing and becoming the strength for each other. ~AmuseMeBooks

My Review: 4 Stars for Doctor's Secret 

McKenzie has successfully avoided men for quite some time. Until she finds herself faking an engagement to the handsome new doctor who will orchestrate the new robotics program at the hospital she volunteers for. Dr. Garrett Branston goes along with the arrangement only to discover his "fake" behavior is more real than he ever imagined. Mac, as he endearingly calls her, crashes into his very fiber and has him dreaming of a life he thought was never within his reach. McKenzie on the other hand denies the push and pull for awhile, but is soon swept away with uncontrollable passion for the gorgeous doctor.
This story will have you searching your own imaginary doctor with the big heart, eyes of dark chocolate, and demanding personality. Mac and Garrett will have you believing in happily-ever-afters. ~AmuseMeBooks
