3.5 stars of pure enjoyment
I have read most of the Lonely Ridge Collection from Ms. Kelley and feel a connection to the characters who live in the small community. Rachelle has suffered for the sins of her father and just wants to move on with her life. She knows it will take hard work to put her past and her father's reputation behind her, but what she doesn't expect is to meet a man who challenges her ability to trust again. But can she trust the man who has hired her to design his new home even it that home used to be Rachelle? You have to read this one to find out!!
I love the town of Elkridge and the people who live in Ms. Kelley's books. I adore the playful banter between Rachelle and Jacob and how they seem to bring out the best in each other. They have undeniable chemistry as well and a need to protect one another.
