I waited for the second book in the Whiskey Promises selection impatiently, I might add. Hanging on as Lily ran and Jace stumbled, broken and defeated. Only to dive right in and be catapulted into Lily's past with her crazy ex on her heels and Jace's over protective nature that makes no sense. Lily finds herself ignoring her gut feelings which only verifies her reason to run in the first place. 
I must say I was ticked off reading this one and had to take a break to bring myself back to finish. 
Damn characters crawled deep under my skin and I wanted to throttle them both!
An emotional cocktail for the romance lovers in us all~Jace and Lily prove that to find your soul mate it takes a forgiving heart in an unforgiving world.
