My REVIEW: 4.5 STARS
I wasn't sure about the direction of this book at first with the
flipping back and forth in time and hints of emotional elements. But
after the fourth chapter the story began to flow with A. S. Kelly's
writing style.
Ian never gives up.
He digs in on the Rugby field and in all facets of his life.
Ian knows he made a huge mistake letting her go, but now that she is here, he won't let her go again.
Riley is protective.
She is strong, invincible, and a master at hiding in plain sight.
At least that's what she thought, until Ian O'Conner saw her, really saw her soul.
This story will challenge even the power reader with the emotional twists and turns that seem to inhabits the live of these characters. I did love that Ian and Riley were beautifully broken pieces of a similar puzzle and that their path to be together took time, trust, and tears. ~AmuseMeBooks
