My Review of
STILL
By Kennedy Ryan
Still is a work of cathartic poetry, which is
etched in the pages of this remarkably reflective book about forgiveness, love,
and possibilities. Ms. Kennedy Ryan waves her magic by giving us a front row
seat in the lives of Marlon “Grip” James and his girl, Bristol Gray. Their love
and friendship knows no limits. They fight as fiercely as they love and their
passion singes the pages with every turn. It isn’t easy being a biracial couple
in a world where people place judgment on every facet of your life. Grip and
Bristol face these challenges and so much more that is unexpected.
When you read STILL your heart will be torn to
pieces, but I promise you, every little jagged part will find its way back
fitting together like a puzzle crafted by a child’s hands. It will change you
and opening your eyes to new possibilities. Read STILL now, but be sure to grab
Flow, and Grip first!!
