Ms. De Lune has written a remarkable novel that shadows the lives of James and Ariana who are both running away from reality and attempting to put back the pieces of their broken hearts. James moves to Australia to work for his company and put his past relationship mishap behind him. Ariana just wants to heal her heart and regain her confidence again after trusting the wrong man. When the two meet across the boardroom table neither one can deny the electric attraction between them. They both know that a work place romance is a risk. Are they willing to test the waters?
I enjoyed the heat between Ari and James in the bedroom and liked the power dynamic that started in the office and seeped into the bedroom. James and Ari faced real life challenges that forced them both back into that space where they had to conquer their fears or walk away alone and broken once again.
