God of Monsters (4th Book in Juniper Unraveling Series) by Keri Lake

5 Beyond Belief Stars!!!

"A god can't be held in chains." A man's voice shouldn't reach down inside the chest and stir it like a hand caught in side a jar of butterflies, but it did. The deep baritone timbre only stokes my fascination, the shock of hearing him speak rousing my curiosity, and the profoundly masculine sound is pleasing in a way I wouldn't dare admit. ....Thalia meeting Titus

The fourth and culminating resolution to the Juniper Unraveling Series is EVERYTHING!
This review took me two days to write, rewrite, and write once more. I hate it and I love it all at once. Keri Lake has given us this post-apocalyptic world where humanity has reached its demise at the hands of human scientists. The aftermath has left a new breed of survivors where beasts walk among men, women are scarce, and there are no rules.
Thalia is the perfect blend of virtue and strength wrapped in a cloak of perseverance and bravery. She is inquisitive, bright, and observant. Her deliberate actions took my breath away many times. I was falling apart, sobbing on my kindle. It was as if Thalia reached out from the page, grabbed my hand and pushed on to find a way to save the god of monsters.
Titus needs no introduction; he is the god of monsters. The Alpha who knows the horrors of Calico first hand and who kills without concern or fear. Killing is a means to an end. Titus is forever changed by the kindness of Thalia and together they face the real demons of mankind.
A full 5 stars is not enough to rate this book, nor the Juniper Unraveling series. It is one of the greatest series of all times. Keri Lake is an amazingly talented, gifted writer. ~AmuseMeBooks
