I think I have read all the Misadventures so far and this one is an excellent bonus of extreme heat and strong characters who do not disappoint!
Cara is a determined kindergarten teacher who knows what she wants and how to get it. Her career means everything to her. She is strong, confident, and independent. It wasn't easy for her to start over after a broken heart, living in New York, and starting at a new school, but she did it without apologies.
Noah knows what it means to lose it all and climb out of the ashes. After his wife died he was tasked with raising his son on his own, while juggling his FDNY career, and healing his own wounds.
On the last weekend before summer break Cara sets her sights on the sexy fireman across the dance floor hoping he will join her as she sways to the music. Before the night ends there is more to put out than a five alarm call when Noah and Cara finally ignite. At least until Monday morning when Noah walks into Marshall's classroom and meets....his teacher.
There is no turning back as the two lovers decide to fan the flames or hose each other down before both get burned along the way.
