Check.Mate.One winner.Not in this game.One of the most intellectual reads this year. Superbly written, with care to every detail that transports the reader into the game, as if they, too, are a pawn on the board between Pascal, Beth, Alexander, and Liliah. My emotions were all over the place. The unconventional became a delightful dance of boastful lust, love, and discovery. Hated for it to end just like a game of chess.
